Vintage Study

This was the first version of my Attic Secrets scene, originally a vintage study. At the time I didn't like this room, which is why I turned it into an attic, but looking back at it now I quite like these renders and thought this version deserves it's own post too. The scene went through several other variations after this until I reached the final attic scene, but this is one of my favorites. I loved lighting this and messing around with fog to create a warm & dusty atmosphere. Everything is modeled, textured, & painted by me excluding the framed photos. The rug and sofas were especially challenging but I love how they came out in the end! The structure of the room also gave me a challenge, specifically the windows in the reading nook.
